The most famous spa in Caldes de Estrac
On the Maresme coast, between the towns of Arenys and Caldetes, Balneario Titus is the thermal bath establishment closest to the sea in Catalonia. It is located just fifty meters from the beach and five meters above sea level, making it a privileged spot.
This spa was created in 1992 with the intention of giving a modern and different aspect compared to other similar establishments that already existed in other parts of Catalonia. Its water source comes from the spring discovered in 1974, which at the time was one of the most important thermal centers in the region.
The spa features a garden with an outdoor thermal water pool, terrace, gym, and all the typical therapeutic facilities of a spa. The services offered include body or partial massages, algae, mud, chocolate, and clay therapies, peeling, infrared electrotherapy, electricity and ultrasound, physiotherapy, parafango, paraffin, and back classes.
The sodium-chlorinated water of the spa, considered mesothermal, emerges at 38 degrees and is of medium mineralization. It is especially recommended for rheumatic and osteoarticular diseases, respiratory, circulatory, and dermatological conditions, and is also considered effective for combating fatigue and stress.
